Miller´s style, though suggestive of references, is decidely her own. It is dense, full of movement – some of it very purposeful, some obviously not, and some not obviously either way.

I like the fragility of the gestures, the emotion-giving energy. I love dance that shatters. I fight every day, faced with the barriers that plague society.

Georges Momboye
Georges Momboye
Choreographer CIE Georges Momboye

Born in Kouibly (Ivory Cost), in one of the richest regions in masks of dance societies, Georges Momboye dances since his childhood, rocked by the rhythms and the songs of his country.

From the age of 13 years, he gives African dance and forms lessons in parallel in ballet dance, jazz and modern ' jazz.
In 1992 GEORGES MOMBOYE founded his dance company CIE GEORGES MOMBOYE with its fifty or so artists in Paris.

For the choreographer GEORGES MOMBOYE, dancing is above all perpetual evolving movement, inspired by a number of influences and not least his culture and experiences, from Alvin Ailey to Martha Graham, the people he has met, including artists from very diverse backgrounds, from African to contemporary companies, classical dance, or even hip hop, all of which play a part in his creations.
Of all of these different creations (the first of which was a UNESCO commission titled "The Peace"), a number were rewarded and programmed in reference venues.
